The
KAPIHAN NG MGA BOSCONIAN first started in August, 1989. It was just a gathering of a small group of big time alumni who took breakfast together. A regular attendee was the “Godfather”, Fr. Miguel, who later became the inspiration to form the Bosconian Chamber of Commerce.
The first KAPIHAN was held at Arnold’s Diners along Makati Avenue. Since then, it went on to some other places like Legend Hotel, Our Place, and others. Because the personalities got busy with their own professional careers, the KAPIHAN hybernated in 1995 after six years of continuous “chikahan”.
On September 10, 2004, the KAPIHAN was reborn with the same personalities, but this time, with firm commitments to sustain ‘come what may’. The rebirth also gave the chance to reform the Chamber under a new name and identity – the BOSCONIAN INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. The rest is history.
Among the many "homes" of the revitalized KAPIHAN were Chowking-Pioneer, Richmonde Hotel, Astoria Plaza, Cafe Lupe. and now Rack's El Pueblo in Pasig.
